The Sugar Shack is Beth and Buck’s writer’s cottage, honeymooners’ hideaway, boat house, and fish camp on old Perdido Bay, near Pensacola, Florida.
Not to worry. We are not leaving Longleaf.

Aha! We have our own version but it’s up in the Vermont woods. It’s 35 years old, but we bought it about 4 years ago. This summer, we finally broke down and put in a telephone. Cell service stinks. We don’t have cable or an ISP. House rule: Work is verboten unless it’s on the house.
I bet you’ll find yourself peeling off layers of stress the minute you open the door.
